More evidence that we’re moving from a text-based culture to a visual/experiental one–a recent Gallup poll of teens 13 to 17 asked what they’d done”yesterday”–
90% said they’d watched TV
77% Listened to music on the radio
76% Listened to music on CDs/MP3s
60% Used the Web
37% Played computer games
33% Read a book for pleasure
29% Read a magazine
28% Read a newspaper
7% Read a comic book
