My friend Lisa Williams just did a 100K bike race! While I was lazing on the beach, Lisa was pedalling along doing 100 miles. Wow.

100km = 62.14 miles
100k = 100,000 miles
or
100k = 62,140 miles
I’m sure it was just a slip of the keyboard — but it was 100 kilometers, not miles. I hope to do 100 miles someday! The actual ride I did was 64 miles, because the organizers couldn’t make the route precisely 100k.
