Christmas Eve dinner, of sorts

The spirit of the holiday calls for a special dinner, but what to make?
(We’ll be eating Chinese and watching movies tomorrow, thank you)

Baked herring with potatoes and apples
Roasted chicken with honey and cumin
Mashed potatoes with browned onion
Sephardic string beans
Spinach salad
Cinnabar Merlot
